Chevron and Dec Rebels remain top after wins over Methlick and Inn at the Park respectively.

Chevron and Methlick shared over 300 runs in a closely fought match at the Links. Batting first, Methlick reached 149-7 in their 20 overs. In reply, Chevron reached 155-2 with 3 balls to spare to record an 8 wicket victory.

The Dec Rebels won by 22 runs against the Park in another match which again saw a combined 300 runs scored on the night. Batting first, the Rebels reached 161-8 from 20 overs. In reply, the Park reached 139-7 at the close.

I've been informed by the Bookings Officer that there are a number of teams that have made no payment at all this year.  Unless payment is received by Monday 23rd June, your fixture on Tuesday 24th June may have to be cancelled.

A quick note just to make clear how the results are being updated each week and the impact this has on the 'margin'.

If two or more clubs are equal on points at the end of the season, their final position in the league is based on the margin by which each club has won and lost it's respective matches. The Rules state 'a batsperson retiring on 30 will not count as either a wicket taken or lost' when determining the teams margin at the end of the season.
