DeC Rebels secured a semi-final match against Ellon next week with a comprehensive 8 wicket victory over Methlick. The match, played at Methlick, was moved to Wednesday to give the Rebels the opportunity to play a rescheduled league match against Dutchmill on Tuesday at the Links.

Methlick batted first and made a total of 127 for 4 off their 20 overs, with S. Murphy (30 no) and T. Acton (26) top scorers for the home side. Pick of the bowlers for the Rebels were Bushi (1 for 15) and Naru (1 for 20). In reply, the Rebels made 130 for 2 to record the victory.  Significant contributions with the bat came from Swapnil (32 no), Shiraz (24 no) and Sree (20). Pick of the bowlers for Methlick was S. Murphy (1 for 25).
