Any match that has been postponed (see Rule 4) must be played before Tuesday 5th August (inclusive) otherwise it will be treated as an abandoned match for the purposes of calculating the final league table (1 point each and no impact on the margin).  So far, only the fixtures of 3rd June have been affected. Both captains must be in agreement to reschedule the match. Please note that there are no spare weeks built into the fixtures due to the number of league / cup matches, however the opportunity may arise as teams are knocked out of the Oxy Cup (Methlick v Grammar Hockey already have an opportunity to reschedule their match when the preliminary round of the Oxy Cup takes place).

Please keep me informed of your intentions to rearrange a match, as I want to ensure that the title is decided with the top teams playing the same number of matches. The rule to allow postponed matches to be rescheduled has always been around, most relevant when there were spare weeks in the schedule when the league consisted of only 8 teams.
