It was the turn of the Dare Devils to sit out this week (their match against Aberdeen University void after the University side's withdrawl from the AECL). The DeC Rebels remain top of the table after a comprehensive victory over Inn at the Park on DP1. The Rebels won the toss, elected to bat first and posted a daunting total of 179 for 4 off 20 overs. Narendra (31 no) Siddesh (33 no), Kapil (34 no) and Vickram (34 no) all retired unbeaten. Pick of the bowlers for the Park were AndyC (3-0-22-1) and Sajid (4-0-19-0). In reply, the Park had a shocker of a start, starting their innings with three 3 ducks. Aqeel (35 no) and Masud (21) settled things down and halted the wicket frenzy for a while, however it was one way traffic and the Park eventually fell 66 runs short on 113 AO. Pick of the bowlers for the Rebels were Rahul (3-24) and Bhushan (2-9). read more 147 reads

Heard on the grapevine that a grenade painted red may have been used for a recent match. A kind reminder that a 4 piece cricket ball must be used for all AECL matches (Rule 13).
