Shell and Nexen each finished Tuesday with an additional 2 points after wins over The Rockhoppers and G98 respectively.  Cults suffered defeat at the hands of Knight Riders, and now must rely on Shell dropping points elsewhere to have a chance of regaining top spot.

The Rockhoppers won the toss against Shell and invited their opponents to bat.  This looked like the right move as Shell buckled to 70 for 8 thanks to 3 wickets each from Abhishek and Ryan Mountain.  However, a late show from Abrar (33*) and Arshad (29*) insured Shell posted a competitive total of 151.  In reply, The Rockhoppers managed their highest score of the season scoring 101, but it wasn't enough to claim their first AECL win.  Shahram with 3 for 15 and Shahed with 2 for 15 doing the damage for Shell.

The game of the evening undoubtedly took place at Groats Road where Shell won the toss and elected to bat.  However, they found scoring difficult amidst a tight bowling and fielding display from KR.  Only Jamal and Akhlaq made telling totals with 33* and 22.  Victims were shared around with the ball but Kannan returned the best figures of 2 for 14.  In reply, Selva helped Knights keep with the the scoring rate by amasing a total of 32.  However, wickets had fallen steadily and KR required 3 runs from the final over with just 2 wickets remaining.  Balls 1 and 2 were dots, before the 3rd ball was hit to mid off and the catch was held.  The 4th ball also yielded no run and at 3 to win off 2 balls, the final KR batsmen Vinodh could only offer a return catch to the bowler Fazal; Shell sneak home by just 2 runs.
