It was fifth time lucky for the RGU Tomahawks, winning their first match in the AECL with a comprehensive victory over BP at DP1. Chevron move to the top of the table, winning a very closely fought match against MCC at DP2. Ellon recorded a comfortable victory over Kings XI at the Links (details still to be added to the site).

Grammar 98 scratched their Wednesday match against the Royal Challengers. The Gentlemen Players were without a match this week due to the withdrawl of Dutchmill from the league.

The conditions for cricket were perfect......very warm and little wind.

The good weather had brought out all the locals into Duthie Park. The evening started with a confrontation and a bout of aggressive shouting between two teams. No side was giving an inch...it was the Military Fitness group teaching their disciples the art of tug of war (phew!!).

The Legends and DeC Rebels remain unbeaten after wins over ATSSC and the Knightriders respectively. The end of season match between the two teams still looking to be the critical game of the season. The Dare Devils recorded a comfortable win over Inn at the Park at DP3. Gordonians scratched against St Ronald. Caledonian originally scratched against Aberdeen University, however the match will now be recorded as void.

Unfortunately we have another casualty in the AECL this year. Aberdeen University CC have advised they are to pull out of the AECL due to a lack of players. The university side only managed to play one match this season against St Ronald (this result and the various walkovers will now be void; the table has been updated). The remaining players with Aberdeen University will team up with Grammar 98 for the remainder of the season (players are not restricted to one team should that team withdraw during the season). All Grammar 98 matches will be transferred to Kings College. This will require some further revison to pitches to ensure maximum use is made of Duthie Park (to be advised shortly).

The DeC Rebels and the Legends now remain as the only unbeaten teams in League 1, following defeat for Inn at the Park at the hands of ATSSC. The Dec Rebels and Legends recorded comfortable victories over the Dare Devils and Caledonian respectively. There was also victory for St Ronald against the Knightriders. Aberdeen University unfortunately were not able to field a team against Apache Gordonians and scratched.

The Royal Challengers are the only remaining unbeaten side in League 2, following a crushing victory over the Gentlemen Players on Wednesday evening. There were also wins for Ellon, Chevron and Kings XI.

In their match at the Links against Chevron, BP batted first and reached 96 AO off 20 overs, with Omar (28) top scoring for BP. Pick of the bowlers for Chevron were A. Starling (2 for 8 off 4) and N. Thangaraj (2 for 10 off 4). In reply, Chevron reached 97 for 4 off 14 overs to record a 6 wicket victory, with Mark Herbert retiring on 30.
